The paper proposed a method for evaluating the effectiveness of the introduction of multi-function booster transformer to boost the voltage to the traction AC networks. It is shown that the compensating installation connected to the multi-back booster transformer winding, performs the role of regulated mainly transverse and longitudinal partial compensation.
Keywords: system of traction power supply, multifunction booster transformer, electric, electromagnetic processes.It has been suggested the patented arrangement for diagnostics of a condition of the main insulation of a high-voltage electric equipment on a pressure of the self-category and a returnable pressure. Objective of creation of a described arrangement is to define the remained resource of electric equipment and to not admit sudden breakdowns of electric isolation while in service. The quality monitoring of insulation is put in a basis of an arrangement of absorption characteristics, in particular, on a pressure of the self-category and a returnable pressure. It is shown, that by results of measurements reduction of a pressure of the self-category for distributive transformers averages 30 V for a year. The created arrangement allows predicting more precisely the remained resource of the main isolation of distributive transformers.
